Letter: Tree trimming needs to be toned down

I feel the trees in Worthington are overpruned. Most parks around the lake have no branches 20 to 30 feet high

By: Celeste Guillen, Worthington, Worthington Daily Globe

I feel the trees in Worthington are overpruned. Most parks around the lake have no branches 20 to 30 feet high. Then, only the tops of threes have leaves and branches. There are many unhappy people about the trees. The baby trees are also cut to the top of the top until they die.

People of Worthington are not allowed to say or do anything about this topic. I do not know of any street sweeper, mail truck or snowplow 20 to 30 feet for our poor trees to be in their way. The main trunks of trees are also being cut off.

Trees are trimmed until they die. There’s nothing left of the tree except the top. People of Worthington cannot allow this to go on any longer. The beauty of our city is at stake.
