U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack is taking to Twitter.

Vilsack will host the first “USDA Virtual Office Hours on Twitter” at 1:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. Central) on Thursday, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The session will focus on energy and renewable technology, government programs to help foster the technology and their relationship to current gas prices.

Virtual Office Hours on Twitter, a live question-and-answer session that will be held monthly, will allow direct contact with USDA leaders on a specific issue or program, USDA says.

Tune in online by following @USDA and using #askUSDA and #energy.

Submit energy-related questions in advance to the @USDA Twitter account using the hashtag #AskUSDA.
