The Agriculture Department says in its weekly crop and weather report that the spring and durum wheat and canola crops made progress.
Spring wheat was 93 percent harvested and durum wheat was 82 percent harvested. Canola was 99 percent swathed and 90 percent harvested.
The report noted that 83 percent of the corn crop has reached the dented stage, behind 95 percent at this point last year but ahead of the five-year 80-percent average.
Dry weather across the state provided for an average of 6.3 days suitable for fieldwork.
