PIERRE, S.D. — The Army Corps of Engineers is taking feedback on how it should review possible changes in managing the Missouri River.

Congress authorized a five-year study on whether the 1944 law that sets management priorities should be updated.

The corps held 41 meetings in the Missouri River Basin last year to take input on the scope of the study.

A public meeting in Pierre Wednesday evening is one of seven the corps will hold to get comment on its suggested outline for the broader study.
