Boy killed in North Dakota farm accident

TAPPEN, N.D. — Kidder County authorities say an 8-year-old boy was killed over the weekend in a farm accident near Tappen.

The Sheriff’s Department says the parents of Margarito Cantu Jr. were working on a truck when the boy got entangled in a conveyor belt and died of his injuries.

He is the son of Margarito and Myrthala Cantu, of Tappen.
