Conference aims to boost rural ND communities

MINOT, N.D. — The governor’s office and several other agencies are holding a rural community conference in Minot.

Gov. John Hoeven says the Governor’s Rural Community Summit Aug. 24-25 at the Holiday Inn Riverside is aimed at helping rural communities grow.

He says there will be forums on such topics as business development, marketing, and worker attraction and retention.
