POLLARD, Ark. — Clay County’s sheriff says a Jonesboro man is “very, very lucky” he survived after the crop duster he was piloting crashed into a field.

Sheriff Gerald McClung says 62-year-old Daniel Felix Ulloa was fertilizing a corn field north of Pollard about 6 p.m. Thursday. McClung says witnesses told authorities that the plane clipped a high line wire, causing the crash.

McClung says Ulloa suffered minor injuries and walked away from the crash.
