Horace, ND, plant evacuated after fire breaks out
HORACE, N.D. — The Sungold Foods plant in Horace was evacuated after a fire broke out in an oven roasting sunflower seeds.
HORACE, N.D. — The Sungold Foods plant in Horace was evacuated after a fire broke out in an oven roasting sunflower seeds.
The Cass County sheriff’s office says the seeds caught on fire about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday and flames spread to the oven’s exhaust, which fell down and ignited other items.
The sheriff’s office says plant workers were evacuated.
A call to the plant rang unanswered later Wednesday.
