DEVILS LAKE — Sen. Kent Conrad says farmers and ranchers with flooded land in the Devils Lake region can once again apply for relief under the Wetlands Reserve Program.

The North Dakota Democrat says the federal Agriculture Department had suspended the issuing of contracts under the program until a technical issue involving title insurance companies was resolved.

Conrad says the Wetlands Reserve Program is not a solution for all landowners but provides another option.
