State Capitol to host Pride of Dakota Day

BISMARCK, N.D. — North Dakota’s statehouse is being transformed into a North Dakota products shopping mall for a day.

BISMARCK, N.D. — North Dakota’s statehouse is being transformed into a North Dakota products shopping mall for a day.

The state Capitol in Bismarck is hosting Pride of Dakota Day on Thursday. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says more than 50 companies will be selling and sampling their products, from food to jewelry.

The Capitol cafeteria also will be serving a Pride of Dakota breakfast and lunch.

Pride of Dakota is a program administered by the state Agriculture Department that helps promote businesses with products produced or manufactured in the state. More than 400 companies are members. The program is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
