Man trapped in corn bin dies

WASECA, Minn. — A man trapped in a grain bin on a farm near Waseca died Thursday after rescue workers were unable to reach him in time.

Officials at the scene tell WCCO-TV that the man apparently suffocated underneath a pile of corn.

The farm is located in Otisco Township, about five miles south of Waseca.
