BISMARCK — The clock is ticking for North Dakota homeowners and business owners who suffered damage from flooding and other severe spring weather.
Today is the deadline for applying for disaster aid.
A spokeswoman for the state Emergency Services Department, Cecily Fong, said more than 7,000 North Dakotans have registered.
Fong said individual payments to homeowners tops $7.5 million and low-interest Small Business Administration loans top $13 million.
FEMA also disbursed $13.7 million in public assistance to local government agencies.
